Stage Manager, Production Supervisor
Malhon has honed his production and management skills on productions of The Phantom of the Opera, Monty Python’s Spamalot, and Pippin, as well as large-scale events such as the Tony Awards™, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and numerous galas and fundraisers.
An expert at calling the technical elements, automation, lighting, sound, and video cues of live productions, Malhon is also well-versed in communicating and directing all aspects of a project, including production meetings, the stage management team, multiple crews (both union and nonunion), and troubleshooting production challenges.
Malhon enjoys the fast-paced “one time to get it right” challenge that a corporate launch event or awards gala demands, as well as the detailed production period and dedicated maintenance that a long-running Broadway show requires. “I strive to bring team player mentality and individual versatility to the table. Including my tenure working as a personal chef on private yachts, which adds a unique dimension to my work by exercising precision, flexibility, and just being prepared for the unexpected.”
